Almost two months now i work for a new (3 months aged) economical weekly newspaper named Kefalaio ("Kefalaio" means Capital in english).
New newspaper means new things , new aisthetic rules, new stylebook. We got a nice clean paper, "baked" 4 coloured pages, we r not so minimal, we love depth on page and 3d objects.
An old colleague mentioned to me recently that i changed my style on infographics. But he couldn't clearly tell me, if thats good or bad. Its true i use new technics and as i told you before, i follow another stylebook here. I hope that all the changes that happened to me, let me keep the rule i believe more: Data rules aisthetic, and not the opposite.
Finally i publish online an infographic that challenged my knowlegde, improved my technics and made me happy (it was printed 30/1/10, n.011).
In that infographic i use 3d and 2d in one strange combination. The printed result made me proud, because i was a bit anxious of black color on paper. I hope you like it.

Fresh Air (from New York)
A good friend of mine, a familiar to you from this blog and from his work to old Etipos infographic designer, Achilleas Galatsidas came back from his trip to New York. He brought to us new ideas, new thoughts, new views and fresh air that help us continue what we are doing overpowered.
About the reasons he was there, and his future business plans, i think that he will let us know sooner or later. I just hope, that we will not wait a lot more.
Till now i thank him for a mousepad photo (coloured with a great infographic from MoMa), that
makes me remember and continue on writing this blog.
